Description Computer science is the science of systematic and automated processing of information. It deals with the structures, characteristics and possibilities to describe information and information processing as well as the setup, working method and construction principles of computer systems. General procedural methods of information processing and general methods of their application are researched. The programme contents include the development of modern experimental and product oriented information processing systems. Computer science can be divided into the areas of theoretical computer science, practical computer science, technical computer science as well as applied computer science.
