ECTS 120
Description The goal of NLP (Natural Language Processing) is to produce a computational model which simulates our ability to speak and understand natural languages such as English, French or Russian as opposed to artificial languages such as programming or mathematics. With the proliferation of digital data, there is a massive need for well-trained engineers and researchers able to exploit this data for commercial (e-commerce, recommendation systems, automatic summarization, multilingual translation, etc) and socio-political (e-learning, opinion mining, behavioral prediction, etc.) purposes.
