The Baltic Sea Region study sub-programme offers in-depth knowledge of the most important cultural and social phenomena of the Baltic Sea Region and their digital resources, it forms a comprehensive understanding of cultural, environmental and social processes, their universal and local manifestations, looking at their development in the context of sustainability. Students of the programme acquire current research methods in the humanities and social sciences (literary sciences, art sciences, cultural history, cultural theory, sociolinguistics, demography, etc.), as well as basic principles of planning and implementation of sustainable initiatives in the humanitarian and social fields (for example, in the course “Sustainable cultural environment of education”), and can apply them in their professional activities. |
