Description |
The MA programme in Digital Humanities prepares students with background knowledge in
Humanities and advanced knowledge in the theories, methods and tools for the digital processing
of cultural assets.
Within this general framework students may specialize in the following key fields of the digital
humanities:
- Language technologies
- Digital publishing
- Knowledge management
- Graphics, interactivity and virtual environments
- Tools for learning and e-learning |
FEES |
The MA follows the general enrolment rules of Pisa University, with a maximum tuition fee of €
2400 and facilitations for many categories of international students, up to the whole tuition fee. A
regional tax of € 140 and a stamp duty of € 16 are also due. Detailed information is available here:

Erasmus |
The MA is managed by the Department of Philology, Literature and Linguistics of Pisa; the
Department adheres to the Erasmus+ program and the MA has full access to the relevant
opportunities.
Additionally, the MA has two Double Degree dedicated programs:
- Digital philology and French literature (with the Lille University)
- Digital humanities (with the École nationale des chartes in Paris) |
Language |
Mainly Italian. Some courses are taught in English. |
