The first year of our Master Sciences du Langage has a common program for all students : methodology of scientific research, training in written expression, seminars in theoretical linguistics, lexicology, lexicography, semantics, etc. For the second year, students choose ONE of three specific "paths" (I am describing here only the one which corresponds to "Digital Humanities") : the path called "Humanités Numériques : Linguistique et Informatique" focuses on natural language engineering, on linguistics and semiology applied to professional contexts, as well as on computer science and its applications in the area of "big data" analysis. The program includes a mandatory internship in a research lab or in the private sector . We also organize online conferences with our alumni so that they may share their professional experience with our second year students. |
